[vintage top, Rodarte cardigan, XXI skirt, Gap flats]
I am perpetually running late for class; hence the car keys in hand/wet hair. And yes, I'm wearing flats. A thousand apologies to the fashion gods. Though, they are amazingly soft kidskin coral leather. Gap has the best flats for their price bracket. And now, more fashion week 2010 ♥
PROENZA SCHOULER
Proenza Proenza Proenza. I love these boys. Besides being dangerously attractive they also happen to create daring and beautiful clothing. First off, the shoes remind me of the ubiquitous Sam Edelman/Balenciaga hoof boot (that will NEVER get old and I still desperately want). The boyish details are very in-your-face, as are the bright pops of color, and the reemergence of hunter green (hello? amazing). Great volume, especially with the coats) and again with the sultry cutouts.
RODARTE
The majority of critics were hesitant to lavish praise on the Mulleavy sisters, as they feel that their deconstructed/crazy layers/boho look is becoming one dimensional. A lot of the pieces were leaning towards unwearable, and one or two were lacking the natural flow of thought that has defined Rodarte in previous seasons. All of that said, I still worship Rodarte and everything they presented was still aesthetic gold.
BRIAN REYES
Colors & furs.
ALEXANDRE HERCHCOVITCH
Definitely takes the prize for most attention grabbing collection. Very opulent, reminds me vaguely of the Chanel Russian themed accessories video from like a year ago.
