Edge of Critical Density

I wore this outfit the other day for a museum visit and lunch. With all the photos of famous editors and muses coming out of Paris Fashion Week, I'm enamored with the clean sophistication of all black and simple blazers. I've been quite "off" this purse the past couple months, but I think it kept the outfit from being too heavy.

[Theirry Mugler skirt, Target super opaque tights, Joey heels, Alice Temperly blouse, vintage blazer, Betsey Johnson doctor bag]
So far this Spring Break, I've:
-consumed too much coffee
-finally caved in and got internet on my Blackberry, thus my thumbs are attached to my phone at all times
-given myself a mani/pedi with my favorite sky blue nail polish
-worn bright coral red lipstick nearly everyday
-visited my favorite hookah bar (mimosa is the best hookah flavor ever)
-and gone to the New Weather exhibit at the Contemporary Art Museum (CAM).
New Weather was nice, but the other artists paled in comparison to Diana Al-Hadid. She's a Brooklyn-based artist, originally from Syria, who is know for her staggering architectural sculptures in resin, polystyrene, steel, plaster, wood, wax, etc. Her pieces are inspired by the physical limits of reality, as well as the chimerical qualities of magic tricks and labyrinths.

I'm excited to get in some much needed lazing around, as well as to go to a Kid Sister show this weekend! Also, attempting the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 draped skirt DIY tomorrow. I'm going to make mine in pastel blue, can't wait!

p.s: I've posted way too many fashion week pictures, but I can't get the Dries Van Noten collection out of my head. PERFECTION. I'm so distracted by my rabid DVN lust that I can't even articulate words to describe the clothing. Swoon.

  2. What a pitty for the shoes! Anyways, forever21 doesn't ship to Italy so even if the shoes would have come from these season collection I wouldn't have had the chance to get them. I'm so lucky, as you see!
By the way, you look gorgeous as always!
